You can almost watch him grow...

Aram jumped a size this weekr so that none of his onesies or jammies fit anymore. Aram's personality is really budding now... he chuckles and tries to talk. He is also pushing himself up on his hands and knees already. He is so much fun to be around now, as long as he gets enough sleep. He is now sleeping anywhere from 8-11 hours straight at night and usually takes one 2 hour nap and one 30 minute nap during the day. I am now back at work, which has proven challenging, but God is really blessing our situation. Peter is having fun being "Mr. Mom" 3 days a week and Elizabeth is watching Aram on Monday mornings and all day Fridays. I am only working from 6am-1pm M-Th and all day on Fridays, which allows me most of the afternoons with Aram. Today we went to Onondaga Lake Parkway and walked. The weather was actually a little chilly today, much like autumn, so I better get out the sweaters soon! Here are a few pics from this week, Enjoy.

Our First Big Appointment!

So, Aram and I went to the doctors last Friday and had our first big checkup. Aram got 6 vaccinations (3 needles and an oral dose) and didn't like that one bit. I almost cried just watching. Well, although we thought he was crazy big, he is only in the 75th percentile in height and weight at 13 lbs 1 oz and 24" long. He is doing great and the doctor is really happy with how mobile and alert he is. All the office nurses loved playing with him while mommy got her checkup. The sad news is, is that mommy will have to have another c-section with the next child... no, that one is not on the way yet. We will be planning next year sometime probably, but of course it will all depend on God's timing! Here are a few photos from week 9. Our camera is still broken and we are relying on Elizabeth's camera, which is not always available.

Aram Isaac- Week 7-8

Here are a few pics from the last two weeks. He is growing so fast and is almost growing out of 3-6 month clothing. Gymboree, here I come! He has blonde/red hair now, which is suprising, and bright blue eyes. Such a looker. He also has Peter's temper. I am so excited to see how his personality and sense of humor will turn out! He now sticks out his tongue on demand and loves belly time. I need to get him one of those play mats, any suggestions from anyone? Leave me a comment if you have a recommendation.

Aram Isaac- Week 6

Here are a few pics from week 6. We tried our new Baby Bjorn carrier and mommy wasn't smart enough to work it properly... crazy mommy. We did finally figure it out, but not before we got a few shots!

Aram Isaac- Week 5 Pics

Here are a few shots of Aram from his 5th week on earth. The last few pics show him watching Phelps win a million and one gold medals! Go USA!

Oops... it's been too long!

Well, Aram is 32 days old, officially 1 month now. He is growing leaps and bounds and is in most of the 3-6 month clothes now. The weird thing is is that he's not really chubby. There are a few small rolls on his thighs and arms, but nothing more. He is already 12 lbs and he is super long... I haven't measured him, but I'm assuming over 2 feet long. He is finally nursing and he's sleeping up to 7 hour stretches at night, which is amazing for us. Going to bed is another matter though. He has quite the temper and screams like you're ripping his arms off for 30 or so minutes before he falls asleep. Mommy tends to be really weak and wants to pick him up. I did pick him up the other night and he immediately quieted and just looked at me and smiled... ggggrrrrr! Well, we will get over this hurdle yet.
Here are some picks from the last two weeks. Please check out my facebook account for more pics, as they are easier to upload there.

Changing Day by Day

Aram is 14 days old now and is so different than when he was first born. He is looking more and more like Daddy everyday (and I'm just a little jealous!) He is sleeping at least 3 hours at a time at night which is very nice for us! In the last week, he has grown at least an inch, as all of the newborn outfits are too short for him in both the arms and the legs. He eats at least 3-4 oz at every feeding, which has been challenging for mommy to keep up with. Right now, I'm pumping milk and supplementing with a little formula until Aram learns how to latch properly on his own. We will persevere though! I'm feeling much better, and am eager for visitors this week! Come and see me or give me a call!
Here are some fun photos from the last week and a half starting with 2 days old and ending with just this morning in his crib:
